Mark your calendars and join us on Saturday, October 2, 2021 as locals and visitors gather to celebrate Madison County’s rich arts heritage. Located in the picturesque town of Mars Hill and the Mars Hill University campus, the annual family-friendly festival features 60+ local handmade arts and crafts, a variety of home-baked goodies, and a large selection of food options.
We are looking forward to being able to hold the festival after a year off last year due to the pandemic.
The Bascom Lamar Lunsford Festival, which was also postponed, is tentatively set to take place on the same day adjacent to the Madison Heritage Arts Festival. This event is the second oldest folk festival in Western North Carolina and brings out the region’s finest musicians and dancers.
Mars Hill is located just 20 miles north of Asheville.
